# Organization Settings

> Configure your organization's basic information and preferences

Organization settings control your company's basic information that appears throughout the platform and in communications with consumers.

## Accessing Organization Settings

Navigate to **Settings** > **Organization** to manage your organization details.

## Organization Information

### Company Details

| Field            | Required | Description                           |
| ---------------- | -------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Company Name** | Yes      | Legal or display name of your company |
| **Display Name** | No       | Short name for UI display             |
| **Website**      | No       | Company website URL                   |
| **Industry**     | No       | Business category                     |

### Contact Information

| Field             | Required | Description            |
| ----------------- | -------- | ---------------------- |
| **Contact Email** | Yes      | Primary contact email  |
| **Support Email** | No       | Customer support email |
| **Phone Number**  | No       | Business phone number  |

### Business Address

| Field              | Description             |
| ------------------ | ----------------------- |
| **Street Address** | Physical address line 1 |
| **Address Line 2** | Suite, unit, etc.       |
| **City**           | City name               |
| **State/Province** | State or province       |
| **Postal Code**    | ZIP or postal code      |
| **Country**        | Country                 |

## Organization Preferences

### Default Settings

| Setting         | Description                     |
| --------------- | ------------------------------- |
| **Timezone**    | Default timezone for scheduling |
| **Date Format** | How dates are displayed         |
| **Currency**    | Default currency for pricing    |
| **Language**    | Primary language                |

### Timezone Configuration

Select the timezone used for:

* Experience scheduling
* Analytics reporting
* Email scheduling
* Dashboard displays

## Organization ID

Your organization has a unique identifier used for:

* API integrations
* Support requests
* Technical configurations

| Field               | Description                       |
| ------------------- | --------------------------------- |
| **Organization ID** | Unique identifier (read-only)     |
| **Created At**      | When the organization was created |

  The Organization ID is automatically generated and cannot be changed. You may need this ID when contacting support or configuring integrations.

## Saving Changes

1. Make your changes in the form
2. Click **Save** to apply
3. Wait for confirmation
4. Changes take effect immediately

### Validation Rules

| Field            | Validation                 |
| ---------------- | -------------------------- |
| **Company Name** | Required, 2-100 characters |
| **Email**        | Valid email format         |
| **Website**      | Valid URL format           |
| **Phone**        | Valid phone format         |

## Where Organization Info Appears

Your organization information is used in:

| Location             | Usage                           |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| **Email headers**    | Sender name and reply-to        |
| **Receipts**         | Company information on receipts |
| **Consumer pages**   | Brand display                   |
| **Legal notices**    | Contact information             |
| **Support requests** | Organization context            |

## Multi-Organization Support

If you manage multiple organizations:

1. Switch organizations from the organization selector
2. Each organization has separate settings
3. Settings don't carry over between organizations

## Data Retention

Organization data is retained according to your plan:

| Plan           | Data Retention           |
| -------------- | ------------------------ |
| **Free**       | 30 days after inactivity |
| **Basic**      | 1 year                   |
| **Pro**        | 3 years                  |
| **Enterprise** | Custom retention         |

## Best Practices

### Company Information

1. **Use official names** - Match legal business name
2. **Keep contact current** - Update when emails change
3. **Add support email** - Separate from primary contact
4. **Include timezone** - Helps with scheduling

### Organization Setup

1. **Complete all fields** - Full information helps support
2. **Review periodically** - Update as business changes
3. **Check timezone** - Affects all time-based features

## Troubleshooting

### Changes Not Saving

1. Check all required fields are filled
2. Verify field validation passes
3. Check network connection
4. Try refreshing the page

### Timezone Issues

1. Verify correct timezone is selected
2. Check for daylight saving time
3. Refresh after changing timezone
4. Clear browser cache if issues persist
